This course is part of the Certificate in Project Management
Focusing on the soft skills and socio-cultural issues in project management, this course presents the Project Manager's Skill Set and the interpersonal skills you need to function as an effective project manager. Placing the emphasis on developing practical skills, topics cover leadership, communications, decision making, mediation, negotiation and influencing skills.
You also learn how to deal with change management within a project or organization. Preparing you to effectively interact with customers, senior management, stakeholders and the team, this course provides you with the opportunity to identify your own strengths and weaknesses and develop a personalized skills development plan that will guide your professional development.
Prerequisite: Project Management Fundamentals.
Books for the Project Management Online courses are not included in the tuition fees. Students are responsible for purchasing their own books from either online book sellers, local book stores or online publishers. Books are mandatory and others are recommended in order to complete online assignments and readings.
